CSAM

Transducer

The only major component my unit was missing was the transducer (even the reciever was intact). Need to try to figuyre out the acceptable output range

Some samples of things that might work:

  • SONIX SONOSCAN GE PANAMETRICS V384 3.5MHZ Transducer

Looks pretty official and like the ones in the instruction manuals

  • SONOSCAN SK50/050 527347 TRANSDUCER

SONIX SONOSCAN GE PANAMETRICS V384 3.5MHZ Transducer

Ask: 350 for the pair

Red case label:

 GE Panametrics

Label 1:

 PANAMETRICS
 V384
 3.5MHZ/.25

Label 2:

 PANAMETRICS
 V384

CSAM (Disposition #1)

Picked up 12/29/2014

Microscope head

Digitally Controlled Pulser/Receiver

Motor controller

PC

Came with 3 computers. One of them seems to be control system, another is a stripped control system, and the third appears to be a simple PC with a video capture card.

Disposition #2

Looked nicer / more compact than first unit, maybe a slightly later unit

"Using a 110MHz transducer, ultrasonic soundwaves are transmitted or reflected through a bonded wafer pair. Voids at the interface of the bonded wafer pair as small as 50 microns will reflect the soundwaves back to the transducer and recorded as a poor quality bond."
